Chandu Guntakala

Founder, President and CEO

Chandu Guntakala is Founder, President and CEO of Anuta Networks. He is a successful serial entrepreneur in the technology industry. Prior to Anuta Networks, Chandu co-founded Jahi Networks, which was acquired by Cisco in 2004, co-founded Nipun Net Solutions in 2002 and was responsible for establishing the first wireless business partner in South India for Cisco. He also founded Austin Chetaks to help promote building healthy communities. Chandu devotes time to his Mathruseva Charitable Trust in India. It helps rural communities with drinking water, education and infrastructure. Chandu has an MS in Computer Science from UT Dallas, where he is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni award. An avid runner, he has participated in marathons in Paris, Chicago, Portland, Austin and San Antonio.

Daniel Snyder

CFO

Dan is an attorney and a CPA, licensed in Texas with over 35 years accounting and tax experience in the US, Europe and Asia/Pacific region. Dan has extensive experience in working with start-up companies, having led the development as COO at The Dock in 1980-1981 from 7 employees to 84 employees implementing financial systems, CRM solutions and managing HR, accounting and customer service groups. Dan’s practice focuses on corporate and individual cross border planning and compliance including structuring, IC DISCs, FTC planning and expatriate income.

John Fogg

Advisor

John Fogg advises technology and emerging growth companies from inception to exit, focusing in the areas of venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. He regularly represents entrepreneurs and investors in venture and private equity financings in the cloud computing, digital media, networking, medical device, software and semiconductor industries. John has substantial mergers and acquisitions experience, having advised on over 75 transactions, including transactions involving Cisco, Cypress Semiconductor, GE Healthcare, Microsoft, Sony Ericsson, TiVo and Zimmer, among others.

Jean-Luc Valente

JL Valente is Vice President of Cisco’s Service Provider Business inside the Cloud Group, and the General Manager for the Next-Generation Enterprise Network Alliance (NGENA) industrial partnership. Valente joined Cisco in 2013 as a software executive with 30 years of operating and leadership experience in building international software businesses. JL led the Ericsson partnership and 5G service provider strategy out of the SP business unit. He also contributed to the creation of the Cisco Service Provider Cloud and Virtualization Group and managed Cisco Service Provider Software Portfolio including SDN, Management, and Orchestration.

Ravi Amanaganti

Ravinder Reddy Amanaganti, is the VP/GM for Networking & Security Group at IBM Cloud. Prior to that, Ravi was the VP/GM for Cisco’s Data Center and Campus Core Switching Group where he was responsible for the industry-leading switching platforms, a $5 billion portfolio across a global team of 1200 employees. Ravi was responsible for the strategy and delivery of Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions across the Open Programmable Fabric consisting of the Nexus, MDS and Catalyst switching products. Ravi is an accomplished leader and engineer with over 23 years experience in IT infrastructure technologies. Ravi holds a Graduate degree in Computer Science from IIT, Kharagpur in India.

Shripati Acharya

Advisor

Shripati is a natural entrepreneur and business executive. Shripati lead one of Cisco’s most successful switching product lines, was the Executive leader for the Cisco education initiative, and co-founded Snapfish, the world’s largest photo site acquired by Hewlett Packard. He was also a key member at Transarc which was acquired by IBM. Having spent substantial parts of working career in the United States and India addressing worldwide markets, Shripati brings a global management perspective. Shripati is an IIT engineer, Stanford computer scientist and Harvard MBA . His passion for Indian business was lit when he interned for Boston Consulting Group in India after business school, and has grown through investments in and mentoring of Indian online startups over the last decade.

Praveen Vengalam

Founder and Vice President of Engineering

Praveen brings over 15 years of software development and networking experience to Anuta Networks. Prior to co-founding Anuta Networks, he also co-founded Jahi Networks. After Jahi’s acquisition, Praveen worked at Cisco Systems in Senior Software engineering roles. Prior to Jahi, Praveen worked in Systems Engineering roles at Calient Networks and Nortel Networks. Praveen graduated from the University of Texas Dallas with an MS in Computer Science. Praveen also holds several patents in networking.

Chakki Kavoori

Vice President, Finance and Operations

Chakki is an entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in Technology and Business. He was a co-founder at Teradiant Networks, a 40G networking semiconductor company, raising more than $30M in VC funding. More recently, Chakki was the head of Corporate Finance at Spansion Inc (acquired by Cypress), the largest NOR flash manufacturer with $1B+ revenues. Chakki was also a leading member of the M&A team managing the acquisition of a 1500 employee, $600M Fujitsu Microcontroller business. Chakki had various other Engineering and Management roles at Intel, Aureal Semiconductor, Morphics Technologies. Chakki has an M.B.A from the Wharton School, Univ. of Pennsylvania, an M.S.E.E from the Univ. of Hawaii, and a B.E (Hons) from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.

Vamsi Kottisa

General Manager, India

Vamsi was previously a director at Manhattan Associates, was a supply chain leader building supply chain optimization products, worked at HP building enterprise software systems and at Texas Instruments building semiconductor factory automation systems. Vamsi, has patent disclosures pending. He has a M.Tech degree from IIT Kharagpur and likes to spend time in Ashrams.

Venky Venkatesan

Venky has been a faculty member of the Computer Science department at the University of Texas at Dallas since 1989 where he is currently a professor. Venky was the Chief Architect at IP Mobile (acquired by Cisco) and member of Advisory Board of Jahi Networks. He has published more than 100 papers in leading conferences and Journals. His research work spans distributed and mobile computing, sensor networks, reliable network design and cloud computing. He has received 27 research awards from federal, state and industrial agencies for his research work. Venky received his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from IIT Madras and Ph.D. degree from University of Pittsburgh.
